Crash Baby Crash [21.O.22] is based on the premise that we are all responsible for the hope that moves us to action because each of us has the capacity to imagine, write and propagate the narratives on which we base our decisions. This three-part play invites us to take a position in an ever changing world by deciding consciously [21], honestly [O] and assertively [22], which narratives we wish to see fulfilled.
During the 1st confinement in March 2020 and the beginning of the writing of the first EP 21, the power of narratives appeared to me for the first time in a very concrete way. The revelation of conflicts of interest in the field of pharmacology and medicine having called into question the legitimacy of scientists, my brain, in constant search of structure and reference, found itself extremely distraught, prey to all kinds of speeches. I felt the vulnerability of my beliefs and the true nature of my preconceptions.

DIVING DREAMS represents that precise moment when the boundary between the rational and the irrational collapses, that moment when our brains seek meaning at all costs, a moment when we have the opportunity to rewrite the score of the beliefs that guide our actions.
Crash Baby Crash [21.O.22] part du postulat que nous sommes tous responsables de l’espoir qui circule et nous pousse à agir car, chacun de nous possède la capacité d’imaginer, d’écrire et de propager les récits sur lesquels nous nous appuyons pour prendre des décisions. Cette pièce en 3 parties nous invite à prendre position, dans un monde en constante évolution, en décidant, de façon consciente [21], honnête et déconditionnée [O], déterminée et assumée [22], des récits que nous souhaitons voir se réaliser.
Lors du 1er confinement en Mars 2020 et le commencement de l’écriture du premier EP 21, le pouvoir des récits m’est apparu pour la première fois très concrètement. La révélation des conflits d’intérêts dans le domaine de la pharmacologie et de la médecine ayant remis en question la légitimité des scientifiques, mon cerveau en constante recherche de repères s’est alors retrouvé extrêmement désemparé, en proie à toute sorte discours. J’ai ressenti la vulnérabilité de mes croyances et la nature véritable de mes a priori.

DIVING DREAMS illustre ce moment précis où la limite entre le rationnel et l’irrationnel s’écroule, ce moment où notre cerveau cherche du sens à tout prix, un moment où nous avons l’opportunité de réécrire la partition des croyances qui guide nos actions.
